## Symptoms

- * SmartView Tracker log shows:

  ```

  Reason: Encrypted session
  ```

* Undesired mail (spam) passes through Security Gateway.

## Cause

Security Gateway is unable to extract and inspect encrypted mail traffic (SMTP TLS).
