# sk98859 - Automatic backups from Check Point machine to SCP server fails to transfer when SCP server runs on SUSE / openSUSE Linux

## Symptoms

- * */var/log/messages* file shows that the automatic backup to the SCP server fails:
  `BACKUP operation failed. Details: Failed to transfer the package to the remote server: x.x.x.x` when SCP server runs on SUSE / openSUSE Linux.

* Manual SCP backups work as expected.

## Cause

The default configuration of *sshd* in SUSE / openSUSE Linux prevents the transfer.
