## Solution

Starting in **R75** , development of UserAuthority has ceased. The [Identity Awareness](https://www.checkpoint.com/products/identity-awareness-software-blade/) blade and Identity Agent were developed to replace the functionality of UserAuthority.

From R75 and on, UserAuthority can only be used on Security Gateways that were upgraded from versions R70.X and lower.

Check Point recommends administrators to switch from using UserAuthority to the Identity Awareness blade for identity-based enforcement.
