| Date Created | 2014-02-06 |

| Products | Security Gateway, Security Management Server |
| Versions | R82.10, R82, R81.20, R82.10, R82, R81.20 |
| OS | Gaia |

## Symptoms

- The following issues might be observed in Gaia Portal widgets - "Memory monitor", "CPU monitor", "Throughput" and "Packet rate":

* widgets do not show any data
* widgets show wrong data (outputs of relevant CLI commands shows different numbers)
* displayed data that never changes (for example, constant 95% CPU usage)

## Cause

This may be caused by a corruption in the */var/log/db* file. The *monitord* process is unable to write the information to the database. As a result, the widgets are not updated, so they display wrong data or no data at all.
