# sk98449 - Endpoint Security VPN client on Mac OS X cannot connect after the first time

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security VPN client on Mac OS X cannot reconnect after the first time (Windows OS client works).  

* When reconnecting after the first connect, client shows:   

  "The site is unavailable. This may be because the connection requires registration through your web browser. Try opening your web browser and completing any registration required to access the Internet. Then retry connecting."  

* Errors in `trac.log` file:  

  * `5493:error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure:s3_pkt.c:1033`
  `
  `
  * ckpSSL_NegotiateStep: Current step failed. Error is: 336151568
  * ckpSSL_fwasync_connected: no connections err -3

  * `map_err_from_cpSSL_to_talkssl unknown code -3 `

## Cause

Mac OS X presents only the RC4 Cipher and not the AES or 3DES Ciphers.
