# sk98446 - SecurID authentication to Smartdashboard fails

## Symptoms

- * When Security Management is installed on RHEL and RSA authentication is configured for both SmartDashboard and for SSH with PAM, SecurID authentication to Smartdashboard fails.
* Error on ACE server: "Node secret mismatch: agent and server using different node secrets"
* SSH with PAM authentication works with SecurID.

## Cause

When RSA authentication is used for both SSH with PAM and SmartDashboard, it requires special setup for the node secret.
