# sk98244 - Creation of new VSX object fails with "Operation incomplete due to timeout"

## Symptoms

- * Creation of new VSX object fails:

  ```
  
  Installing default Policy - Policy_Name on Object_Name
  Operation incomplete due to timeout.
  Failed to install default Policy Policy_Name on Object_Name
  
  Installing VSX default policy operation has finished with errors.
  ......
  Operation has failed.
  ```

* Output of '`fw stat`' command on VSX Gateway shows that policy was installed.  

* Output of '`vsx stat`' command on VSX Gateway shows '`VSX is not supported on this platform`'.

## Cause

Creation of VSX objects requires the '`Accept SmartUpdate connections`' box to be checked in Global Properties, so the policy can be installed (this box is not required for the VSX configuration).
