# sk98001 - 'vsx_util reconfigure' fails with "Failed to fetch configuration information from Name_of_VSX_object"

## Symptoms

- '`vsx_util reconfigure`' fails with "`Failed to fetch configuration information from `*Name_of_VSX_object*"

## Cause

If the VSX Gateway / VSX Cluster member had an established SIC with the Management Server before, and was rebooted **very shortly** before running the '`vsx_util reconfigure`' command, then FWM daemon on the Management Server tries to re-use the stale AMON TCP connection, and fails.
