# sk97688 - Endpoint connect disconnects after 20 seconds the first time it connects when SecureXL is enabled on cluster

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint connect disconnects after 20 seconds the first time it connects when SecureXL is enabled on ClusterXL High Availability / VRRP cluster. After second connection attempt, SecuRemote stays connected.
* Issue started after upgrading Cluster members to Gaia OS.
* If SecureXL is disabled, then Endpoint connect connects and stays connected every time.
* Kernel debug and traffic capture indicate that the SecuRemote client does not get the Tunnel Test packets from the cluster members.
* Connection succeeded but traffic does not reach destination for first 5-15 minutes after.
