## Symptoms

- Unable to add SNMP community name in Gaia Portal - after typing the text and clicking on 'Apply' button, the text is reverted to the previous string (e.g., to default name - "public").

## Cause

By design, Gaia Portal does not allow special characters in SNMP community name (e.g., `$some$text1`).
