# sk95240 - "export_mds" command fails after R77.x MDS installation

## Symptoms

- EXPORT_MDS fails with the following message.   
Creating meta data for import.   
/bin/cp: cannot stat \`/var/log//migrate_tool/plugin_pack.conf': No such file or directory Getting MDS data   
Error: Failed to export Multi-Domain Server database.   
Cleaning temporary workspace /var/log//temp_workspace

## Cause

The directory migrate_tool is missing and is not created during the install or upgrade.
