# sk94146 - Upgrade fails with a general error

## Symptoms

- * "Error, Installation of Security Gateway / Security Management \&ltversion\> package failed!!!Failed to install package. Aborting installation Program" error when upgrading Gaia using the `Unixinstall` script via command line.   

* No errors are displayed in `/var/log/CPupgrade.elg` file.

## Cause

Upgrade file is corrupted, the MD5 string is wrong.
