## Symptoms

- * HTTP and HTTPS traffic is dropped and/or latency is experienced when HTTP / HTTPS traffic goes through a VPN tunnel.
* No logs are displayed for the dropped traffic in the SmartView Tracker.

## Cause

Security Gateway is defined as Proxy and the traffic goes through a VPN tunnel.

## Solution

This feature (passing traffic over an IPSec VPN tunnel with Security Gateway that is defined as Proxy) is not included in the product. If you need it, submit a [Request for Enhancement](https://www.checkpoint.com/rfe/login.htm).
