## Solution

Check Point provides Offline Updates for **IPS** , **Anti-Bot** , and **Anti-Virus** Software Blades for customers that have limited or no Internet connectivity in their environment.

This is an Early Availability, paid service that allows to update your Security Gateways locally without requiring an Internet connection.

**To get more information about this service, contact [Check Point Account Services](https://help.checkpoint.com/) \> "Non-Technical Issue".**

**Access is only provided with Account Services authorization.**

To receive Offline Updates, end-customers must meet these conditions:

1. The involved User Center account has at least one valid contract for IPS or Anti-Bot or Anti-Virus.
2. The person requesting access is configured in the above User Center account.
3. The person requesting access works for the company that is configured in the above User Center account (non-company emails, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. are not accepted).
4. The request cannot come from / be for an alias email account.
5. The person requesting access cannot be part of a Partner Map account.
6. Once all the above conditions are fulfilled, the user is required to sign the Offline Update License Agreement / EULA, which will be provided by Account Services as part of the service request.
Note: The agreement must be signed by an authorized representative of the company by a director or higher. Please ensure the signatory is officially approved to execute agreements on behalf of the organization.

**Notes:**

* The Access to offline downloads is only for the duration of the IPS, ABOT, and/or AV blades and does not automatically renew the download access with renewal of services.
* Users that wish to keep up download access will need to reach out to Account Services at the renewal of services to update offline download access as this is not an automatic update
* After each renewal of the IPS, Anti-Bot, or Anti-Virus update services, you must repeat this request process (without the signing of the Offline Agreement).
You must provide the contacts email address, for which the access to offline updates needs to be extended.
* Do **not** use files from the "Downloads" section of Support Center for the Offline Update function (except in the circumstance where a specific bug fix was released).
Doing so may be detrimental to the Management Server's operations.
