## Symptoms

- Endpoint Security On Demand (ESOD) scan does not support native firewall on RedHat-based Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, etc.).

## Cause

Latest versions of native firewall ('ip_tables' service) can be accessed with root privileges only. So, if web browser does not run under root account, Endpoint Security On Demand (ESOD) can not determine the firewall state.
