## Symptoms

- * After the Mobile Access Blade is enabled, connections to the WebUI are rejected by the security gateway even though the logs show accepted connection attempts.
* After a reboot, the gateway is only accessible via console or LOM, and no Check Point services have started.

## Cause

You will see this message after a reboot of the gateway:

`Starting cpboot: cpstart: Power-Up self tests passed successfully`
`cpstart Error: Host name resolution for [gateway name] failed.`

`Local host name resolution is required for normal VPN-1 operation`

`Please correct this error and run cpstart again:`

`Add an entry for [gateway name] in /etc/hosts`

The management interface is configured to be an interface that has no IP address configured on it.
