# sk92621 - 'Unknown Traffic' drops by Application Control and URL Filtering for custom services

## Symptoms

- Traffic that is accepted by the firewall on a custom defined service is being subsequently dropped by application control as 'Unknown Traffic'

## Cause

The application control and URL filtering policy has been configured to drop traffic categorized as unknown. Since the custom service cannot be categorized, it is correctly dropped by this rule.
