# sk92614 - "No connection to correlation unit" error in SmartEvent

## Symptoms

- * "No connection to correlation unit" error in SmartEvent.  

* SmartView Monitor shows SmartEvent status as "`Problem - Event distributor is not connected`".  

* When editing the correlation unit object, a popup "`Synchronization with the Management object database has not completed`" appears.  

* After a migrate import on the SmartEvent server, the Object Sync status on the SmartEvent overview tab fails to complete.   

* Duplicate objects can be seen on the GUI.

## Cause

Corruption in SmartEvent database.
