## Symptoms

- User that was added in Gaia Portal with the '`/usr/bin/scponly`' shell (in '`User Management`' pane - '`Users`'), is not able to connect to Gaia machine over SCP:

* WinSCP displays:
  `Your shell is probably incompatible with the application (BASH is recommended).`

* SCP utility displays:
  `USER@MACHINE's password:`
  `lost connection`
  (TCPDump shows that the target machine sends TCP FIN segment)

## Cause

By default, when you add a user in Gaia Portal, it is assigned the UID 0.

SCP functionality is restricted on Gaia OS for user with UID 0 and "`/usr/bin/scponly`" shell.
