# sk80120 - User cannot login to Smart Console with error message: "User has been locked, please contact your system administrator"

## Symptoms

- User cannot login to Smart Console, and sees error message: "User has been locked, please contact your system administrator".

## Solution

1. From the Command Line (CLI), check if the user is locked out: *fwm lock_admin -v*

2. If the user in question is locked out, unlock user from expert mode: *fwm lock_admin -ua*

Note: To unlock a specific Admin, use the command : `fwm lock_admin -u <Admin_Name>`  

Example : `# fwm lock_admin -u <Admin_Name>`  

` Administrator <Admin_Name> unlocked successfully.`  

Important: `"fwm lock_admin"` command may take few seconds to execute.  

3. \[Optional\] : Install Database: 'Policy \> Install data base'.

Try to login from Smart Console.
