# sk79380 - ClusterXL drops Data connection although 'Connection persistence' was configured as 'Keep data connections'

## Symptoms

- * ClusterXL drops data connection although '`Connection persistence`' was configured as '`Keep Data connections`' in Properties of cluster object  

* Data connection (e.g., FTP Data) is dropped with '`First packet isn't SYN`' message  

* If '`Connection persistence`' is configured as '`Keep all connections`' or as '`Rematch Connections`', then Data connections is not dropped

## Cause

The value of '`save_data_conns`' attribute is not inherited to objects of cluster members from object of cluster during policy installation (during conversion from the Cluster object to Members' objects).
