## Solution

Some Check Point appliances and some Open Servers use specialized BIOSes. These systems need to be installed in alternative way.

Systems known to require alternative installation method:

* IBM System x3550 M4
* IBM System x3550 M5
* IBM System x3650 M5
* HP ProLiant DL360 G9
* HP ProLiant DL380 G8
* HP ProLiant DL380 G9

For the above systems:

1. Verify that your model, RAID controller and network cards are supported by Check Point in the [Hardware Compatibility List.](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/hcl/#os)
2. During the Gaia OS installation, select the "*Install Gaia on systems listed in sk77660*" option.

3. Continue with installation.
