# sk69060 - 'adlog' process for Identity Awareness is running only on Active cluster member

## Symptoms

- When you try to run queries for 'adlog' on Standby cluster member, a message appears saying that 'adlog' is not running on this machine.

## Cause

By design, in cluster environment, 'adlog' communicates with the DC servers only from the Active cluster member.
