# sk65984 - Elements that include encoded slashes are not displayed when published through Mobile Access

## Symptoms

- * Fiddler shows a 404 response when requesting web page elements that contain encoded slashes (%2F)
* HTTPD logs show the following message when parsing the "GET" request that contain the encoded slashes: found %2f (encoded '/') in URI

## Cause

Apache defense mechanism prevents usage of encoded slashes by default as it bears potential security risks.

For example: CVE-2007-0450
