# sk61546 - The IP addresses of ClusterXL members in the output of 'cphaprob stat' command differ from the IP addresses of Sync interfaces

## Symptoms

- During various problems in ClusterXL (e.g., failure on one of the members), the output of '`cphaprob state`' command might show IP addresses that differ from the IP addresses of Sync interfaces

## Cause

This behavior is a part of clustering mechanism. If Cluster Control Protocol (CCP ) packets are not sent/received correctly on the Sync interface, the clustering mechanism might choose one of the other cluster interfaces.
