# sk60463 - URL Filtering Signature Update Installation Fails

## Symptoms

- * Automatic update of URL Filtering database fails with the error:  

  `<firewall name>: Failed. Message from module: "Failed. Engine update failed (error UF_INVALID_DB).`"

* Manual update from CLI reports that signature database is current.

* URL Filtering does not block any URLs.

* Debug of "in.aciufpd" daemon repeatedly shows:  

  `auf_categorize_SC: No URL Database List found, please update the database using the SmartDashborad`

* Update in SmartDashboard shows that URL Filtering is already the most recent version.

* Update in CLI fails with "backend failure".

* Licenses and contracts file are up to date.

## Cause

Corruption of URL Filtering signature database.
