# sk42905 - LDAP queries are failing with "SSL finger print does not match"

## Symptoms

- * LDAP queries are failing with "SSL finger print does not match" pdpd/vpnd/iked/cvpnd will show: ldap_ctx_fingerprint_check: ldap_async: SSL finger print does not match
* After clicking "Fetch" in Smart Console \> LDAP Account Unit \> Servers \> Edit \> Encryption, a warning message is displayed that LDAP server certificate renew will require manual fetch

## Cause

LDAP server certificate legacy validation is configured in SmartConsole  

The SSL fingerprint on the LDAP server has changed since it was originally configured in SmartConsole.
