# sk40206 - Is there a way to view potentially overlapping VPN Domains?

## Symptoms

- This command displays all overlapping VPN domains. Some IP addresses may belong to two or more VPN domains. The command alerts for overlapping VPN Domains if one or both of the following conditions exist:   

? The same VPN domain is defined for both Gateways.  

? If the Gateway has multiple interfaces, and one or more of the interfaces has the same IP address and netmask.

## Solution

To view potentially overlapping VPN Domains using VPN communities, use the command:

nokia\[admin\]# **vpn overlap_encdom communities --s**

If you are still using traditional mode:

nokia\[admin\]# **vpn overlap_encdom traditional --s**

Please Note\* this should be run on the gateways
