## Solution

Multi-Domain Management / Provider-1 is a solution for hosting multiple managers on one machine. To do this and maintain separation between each hosted manager, virtual IP addresses are allocated for each manager.
These Virtual IP addresses must be hosted on an interface on the server machine.

For a multi-homed MDS server, the administrator must define the interface on which to create the virtual IP configuration.
A virtual IP address can only be created on an interface that was configured as a Leading interface in mdsconfig. If the Leading interface is not configured correctly, the virtual IP address may be created on the wrong interface.

Configure the Leading interface(s) as those that host Domain / CMA IP addresses.

Note that the MDS IP address will be taken from one of the Leading IP addresses.
