# sk31692 - RADIUS/SecurID packets are picked up by an implied rule instead of being encrypted

## Symptoms

- RADIUS/SecurID packets are picked up by an implied rule instead of being encrypted.

## Cause

A SecurID authentication server is defined as a RADIUS server on the Security Management Server. This causes UDP port 5500 or 1812 packets to be picked up by the RADIUS implied rule. As a result, the packets are not encrypted via the VPN.
