# sk18564 - Unable to run the log consolidation process on Eventia Reporter/SmartView Reporter Server

## Symptoms

- * Unable to run the log consolidation process on the Eventia Reporter/SmartView Reporter Server.
* Error messages in `lc_rt.log` file indicate log consolidation process was aborted:   
  * Error: "\[LogConsolidator\] Error:'ntp' is not in Services OMI info!"

  * Error: "\[LogConsolidator\] Error:'nbname' is not in Services OMI info!"

  * Error: "\[LogConsolidator\] Error:failed to process FireWall-1 object data"

  * Error: "\[LogConsolidator\] Aborted"

  * Error: "\[LogConsolidator\] An error has occurred in the Log Consolidator"

  * Error: "View the file $RTDIR/log_consolidator_engine/log/*\<log server's IP address\>*/lc_rt.log"

  * Error: "Note that once the problem is fixed, you must restart the Log Consolidator service"
* Eventia Reporter/SmartView Reporter Server is failing to connect to the log consolidator engine.

## Cause

After pre-defined service names or pre-defined service group names had been modified to a user specific name (i.e. custom service name), the log consolidator engine is unable to resolve the service names.
