# sk185276 - Expert Mode Commands Fail with "plan-name: command not found" on Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * Commands that run in Expert mode on the affected Security Gateway fails with error:  

  ```
  plan-name: command not found
  ```

* Gaia Command Line Shell (Clish) commands work as expected.

* Expert mode commands fail to execute or behave unexpectedly.

## Cause

The Gaia shell profile configuration files are corrupted on the affected Security Gateway.

Affected files may include:

* */etc/profile*
* Files located under */etc/profile.d*

When an administrator enters Expert mode, the shell reads these profile files to initialize the shell environment. During this process, environment variables, command paths, and other required shell settings are loaded.

If the profile files are corrupted, Expert mode cannot initialize correctly. As a result, the shell may interpret configuration content as executable commands and display errors such as:

`plan-name: command not found`

This prevents normal command execution in Expert mode.
