# sk185247 - Imported Data Center Object Remains After Discarding Changes

## Symptoms

- When importing a Data Center Object:  

* The import creates a pending session change.
* The related audit record is not generated until the session is published.
* If the session changes are discarded, no audit record is generated.
* Subsequent modifications to the object may generate an incorrect audit entry

## Cause

Under specific conditions, the imported Data Center Object is stored in the Management database while the associated session change remains pending. As a result, discarding the session does not correctly synchronize the object state and related audit records.
