# sk185238 - Maestro SNMP OIDs return incomplete data for some Security Group Members

## Symptoms

- * SNMP queries for Maestro-related Object Identifiers (OIDs) do not return data consistently across Security Group Members in a dual-site Maestro Security Group.

* Some OIDs return data only from specific Security Group Members (for example, 1_2, 2_1, and 2_2) but not from Security Group Member 1_1 or from external SNMP monitoring systems.

* Some SNMP OIDs never return data, including:

  ```
  .1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.48.29.1.4
  .1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.48.29.1.18
  ```

  <br />

* OID `1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.48.30.30.10`, related to connection information per Virtual System (VS) per Security Group Member, returns incorrect details and shows NA for some entries.

* The file */var/log/asgstats/asg_perf.dat* is stale, missing, or not updated on some Security Group Members.

* Running fails with the error:

  ```
  can't read "stats(2_02,hd_usage,/var/log,percent)": no such element in array
  ```

* The `perfanalyze` output on one Security Group Member does not display */var/log*.

* External SNMP monitoring systems and the Multi-Domain Server cannot reliably retrieve Security Group Member-specific performance data.

## Cause

The /var/log logical volume is not mounted correctly on an affected Security Group Member.

The file system */dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_log* is expected to be mounted on */var/log*. Maestro-related SNMP OIDs depend on performance data generated in:

*/var/log/asgstats/asg_perf.dat*

When */var/log* is not mounted correctly:

* `perfanalyze` does not detect */var/log*.
* `perf_data_collector.tcl `cannot retrieve */var/log*disk usage statistics.
* */var/log/asgstats/asg_perf.dat* is not updated correctly.
* SNMP OIDs that depend on this performance data return incomplete results, no data, or NA values.
