# sk185161 - Security Gateways not visible or not sending data in AIOps

## Symptoms

- * After automatic onboarding, Security Gateways do not appear in Events \& AIOps.
* The Security Management Server appear in Events \& AIOps, but the managed Security Gateways do not.
* Nano Agent validation on affected Security Gateways reports an Access Key or token authentication error. \[Expert@Gateway:0\]# cpnano -s
* Outbound connectivity tests from the Security Gateways to Check Point services succeed.
* Multiple Security Gateways in the same managed environment are affected.

## Cause

During automatic Events \& AIOps onboarding, the Access Key available on the Security Management Server was not available to the affected managed Security Gateways.  

As a result, the Nano Agent on the affected Security Gateways could not authenticate to Events \& AIOps. The gateways therefore did not appear in the portal.  

After administrators manually supplied the Access Key and reran onboarding on the Security Gateways, portal connectivity was established. In the affected environment, telemetry reporting started only after Check Point services were restarted.
