# sk185052 - Check Point Response to CVE-2026-10847- Identity Agent Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

## Symptoms

- * A local authenticated user on a Windows endpoint computer running Check Point Identity Agent Full for Windows OS may be able to obtain elevated privileges on the computer.
* This issue affects Identity Agent deployments where the Identity Agent service is installed and running with SYSTEM privileges.
* This issue received the ID [CVE-2026-10847](https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-10847).

## Cause

A vulnerability in the Identity Agent log collection mechanism could allow an authenticated local user to execute code with elevated privileges on the Windows endpoint computer under specific conditions.

## Solution

This issue was resolved in Identity Agent Full - for Windows OS version **81.087.0000** . If you are using a version lower than 81.087.0000, download the latest version of Identity Agent Full for Windows OS.
