## Symptoms

- * After reverting a snapshot on a Threat Emulation appliance, Threat Emulation stops working. The teCurrentPack symlink points to a non-existing directory.

You can verify by running on the Security Gateway or Threat Emulation appliance :

  ll -h /var/log/files_repository/Raw_Files//
* The directory specified by teCurrentPack (for example, 600278) is missing. Instead, only a different pack version (such as 600305) is available..

## Cause

When you revert a snapshot, the teCurrentPack symlink is restored to its previous state. However, the Threat Emulation engine pack that the link references may no longer exist in the local repository.
As a result, the symbolic link is invalid, and Threat Emulation cannot load the required engine pack.
