# sk184995 - Spark 2500 Appliance Does Not Boot After Factory Reset

## Symptoms

- * After performing a factory reset on a Spark 2500 appliance, the Appliance does not complete the boot process.

* The Power LED remains red.

## Cause

In early R82.00 firmware versions, an issue related to the Certificate Revocation List (see [sk184766](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk184766)) prevents the Spark Appliance from completing the boot process after a factory reset.
