## Symptoms

- When specific Threat Prevention blades are enabled on a Check Point Security Gateway, some HTTPS web applications may not render page content correctly. Observed behavior may include:

* Drop?down menus do not populate.
* Export or action menus appear empty.
* Buttons are visible, but related options are missing.
The same web application works as expected when the relevant Threat Prevention blades are disabled. This behavior is typically observed with HTTPS applications that rely on dynamic HTML content generated by the server, especially when POST requests and Content?Length handling are involved.

## Cause

This behavior is observed in R81.20 due to a specific Content?Length handling condition in the Content Inspection / Anti?Virus inspection flow.

In certain scenarios:

* The Anti?Virus engine inspects traffic on the client?side flow.
* Content?Length validation is evaluated using the server?side connection context.

Under these conditions, the inspection engine may activate a partial inspection state even when the HTTP request includes a valid Content?Length header. As a result, part of the HTTP request body may be processed differently during inspection, which can affect how the backend web application generates dynamic HTML content.

This can lead to incomplete or missing page elements, such as empty menus or missing options.
