# sk184949 - "Peer gateway already exists" error when creating a VPN Tunnel interfaces

## Symptoms

- You receive the error: `"Peer gateway already exists"` when trying to create a new VPN Virtual Tunnel Interface (VTI), for example:

## Cause

It is not supported to create a second VTI interface to the same Peer Gateway.
