# sk184861 - Maestro SCP scheduled backup is not saved when configured in Gaia Clish

## Symptoms

- * When you configure a scheduled backup to an SCP server on a Maestro Security Group Member using Gaia gClish, the command completes successfully, but the scheduled backup is not created.
  Example command (run on the SGM):

  ```
  add backup-scheduled name weekly scp ip <server IP> path <path to save backup on server> username <username> password <password>
  ```

  The system returns a success message:

  ```
  success
  ```

* The scheduled backup does not appear in the output of:

  ```
  show backup-scheduled
  ```

* No corresponding configuration is created under /config/active.
* Creating a local scheduled backup on the SGM works as expected.
* Creating a scheduled backup to an FTP server works as expected.

## Cause

This behavior is observed due to a software condition related to updated internal parameter handling for scheduled backup commands that include SCP targets.  
As a result, the scheduled backup configuration is not persisted, even though the command returns a success message.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:

2. [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92739) file from the Security Gateway / each Cluster Member / Security Group involved in the case.
