# sk184822 - "Page does not load fully" error in the browser or interactive elements (buttons/menus/scripts) do not respond when Threat Emulation is enabled

## Symptoms

- * When Threat Emulation is enabled on the Security Gateway:  

  * The browser displays: *"Page does not load fully"* error
  or
  * Interactive elements in the browser (buttons/menus/scripts) do not respond to user actions.

* The issue is reproducible on specific web pages and disappears when Threat Emulation is bypassed/disabled.

* The *$FWDIR/log/ted.elg* file shows indications of a mismatch between the detected file type and MIME type, leading to errors such as:  

  "*Extension indicates an archive, but MIME type is unsupported"* or   

  *"Error code: archive_mime_type_mismatch"*.

## Cause

Some web content is delivered in a way where:

* The file extension suggests an archive type (for example, `gz`), while
* The detected MIME type is not supported for archive extraction or handling (for example, `text/plain`)

In this edge case, Threat Emulation performs additional validation and may attempt archive handling based on the extension. This can result in a Threat Emulation error flow that may unintentionally block/interrupt the delivery of the content required by the website, causing the page or its interactive components to malfunction.
