## Symptoms

- * Installation of the R82 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator or any Hotfix fails in the Security Group in this scenario:

  1. Security Group runs the R82 release with the R82 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (or any Hotfix) installed
  2. To this Security Group, you add a new Security Group Member appliance that runs the R82 General Availability release
  3. The new Security Group Member successfully joins the Security Group
  4. At some point in the future, you start the installation of the R82 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (a higher Take) or any Hotfix

This installation operation fails on the Security Group Member that joined the Security Group.

* This issue occurs regardless of whether SMO Image Cloning is enabled in the Security Group.

* This issue occurs only for Security Group Members that run the R82 General Availability release before they join the Security Group.

## Cause

When a new R82 Security Group Member joins the Security Group, the lightshot snapshot this new R82 Security Group Member copies from the SMO Security Group Member does not contain the required files from the `/var/log/CPda/` directory on the SMO Security Group Member.

This `/var/log/CPda/` directory contains the installed hotfixes and information about them.
