## Solution

Follow this procedure on the Windows endpoint device to configure a custom *TracSrvWrapper* port.

**Prerequisites**

* Endpoint Security VPN E89.20 or higher
* The VPN MSI installer you intend to customize
* Access to the VPN Configuration Utility (*VPNConfig.exe*)

**Procedure:**

1. Download the **VPN Configuration utility for Endpoint Security** from ([SK122574](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk122574)).

2. Open the utility.

3. Scroll to the **Trac Service Port** feature.

4. Select **Edit Feature**.

5. In the value field, select **CUSTOM**.

6. When prompted, enter a port number in the range 1024-65535.

   **Important:** Select a port not used by other services and restricted to localhost.
7. Click **OK**.

8. Click **Browse**, and select the MSI installer you want to modify.

   **Note:** Only E89.20 and higher installers support this option.
9. (Optional) Edit any other MSI features as required.

10. Click **Save** to generate the customized MSI package.

11. Deploy the new MSI to endpoint machines.
