# sk184779 - SmartConsole workflow 'Locks' and 'Changes' counters reset to zero

| Property | Value |
|----------|-------|
| Solution ID | sk184779 |
| Date Created | 2026-03-03 |
| Last Modified | 2026-07-23 |
| Technical Level | General |
| Products | Security Management Server, Multi-Domain Security Management Server |
| Versions | R82.10, R82, R82.10, R82 |

## Symptoms

- * When a user submits a change request in workflow, the 'locks' and 'changes' columns initially display correct values.

* After some time, both values change to 0 unexpectedly.

* The Review Change Report option becomes unavailable (grayed out).

* Approvers cannot view the report and therefore cannot approve or deny the request.

## Cause

In specific Workflow-handling conditions, SmartConsole may not retain the session metadata used for calculating the lock and change counters. When this metadata expires, SmartConsole displays the session with zeroed counters, and the change report becomes unavailable.
