## Symptoms

- * On Spark Firewall appliances running R81.10.17 build 996004721, L2TP Remote Access VPN users can connect successfully.

* Connected L2TP users do not appear on the **Connected Remote Users** page in the WebUI.

* The Connected Remote Users list may appear empty.

* Endpoint Security VPN users connecting to the same appliance appear correctly.

## Cause

The WebUI **Connected Remote Users** page uses a display filter that matches only Endpoint Security client sessions.

L2TP VPN sessions do not match this filter and are therefore not shown in the WebUI, even though the VPN connections are active and functioning as expected.

This issue affects WebUI visibility only dand does not impact VPN connectivity or security enforcement.

## Solution

This issue is fixed in the Spark Firewall R81.10.17 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (JHF) image (build 4838).

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.

**Hotfix installation instructions:**
Refer to [sk168597 - How to install a Hotfix](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk168597).

No configuration changes are required after applying the Hotfix.

**Notes:**

* The Hotfix applies only to Spark Firewall appliances running R81.10.17 build 996004721.

* Installing a Hotfix or Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (JHF) on the Spark Firewall can require a reboot and causes service interruption.

  * Plan maintenance downtime.

  * Back up the appliance configuration before installation.

* Verification:

  After installing the Hotfix, establish a new L2TP VPN connection and confirm that the user appears in the **Connected Remote Users** page.
