# sk184649 - UserCheck Portal "send original email" fails after Threat Extraction is enabled

## Symptoms

- * When configuring a UserCheck message with the **send original email** option, clicking this option returns these errors:   

  * `An unexpected error has occurred`
  * HTTP 500 response when accessing the relevant UserCheck action.

  End users can access the UserCheck portal and may be able to download the original file, but the action "Send original email" (send original email back to user) fails.

  <br />

* *$FWDIR/log/PortalLog.log* on the Security Gateway shows this error:  


  `Undefined property: stdClass::$attachments
  - Reference to:
  /opt/CPUserCheckPortal/phpincs/web/actions/ScrubbingSendOriginalMailAction.php`.

* The issue happens for all users, regardless of the recipient entered in the UserCheck message configuration.

  CLI-based procedures for sending the original email work.

  <br />

## Cause

An issue with the `ScrubbingSendOriginalMailAction.php` file.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.
