## Symptoms

- * Users who browse the Internet with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge see repeated Local Network Access (LNA) pop-up prompts or warnings.

* The security rule uses UserCheck (for example, an *Ask* redirect).

* The issue occurs after upgrading Chrome/Edge to versions where with enabled Local Network Access enforcement (reported starting from Chrome v142/Edge v142).

## Cause

Chrome and Edge block requests from a public website to a private network address.
When an HTTP/S redirect sends the user to an internal UserCheck portal, the browser detects it as a request from a public website to a private network address.
