## Symptoms

- * Korean characters in the Harmony Endpoint Client user interface appear as garbled or unreadable characters.
* The issue occurs in multiple UI elements, such as Incident Source, Anti?Malware, Incident Description, and Harmony Endpoint alerts.
* Korean characters appear correctly in the Endpoint Management Server SmartConsole logs.

## Cause

Windows system locale is not configured to use Unicode UTF?8 encoding. Some Harmony Endpoint Security Client UI components rely on the system locale when rendering multilingual text. When UTF?8 support is disabled, Korean characters may appear as unreadable text.
