# sk184547 - Diff Report Server Sends Empty Change Report

## Symptoms

- * SmartTask does not send an email with the Change Report.
* The change report in the email is blank.
* CPMDOC shows an error that appears related to a certificate validation failure in the Diff Report Server.

## Cause

A condition during the installation of the Diff Report Server may create certificate components as directories instead of files.  
When this occurs, the Diff Report Server Docker container cannot start.  
Because the server never runs, the generated change report is empty.
